Delete your Double Check account

You can permanently delete your Double Check account and all associated data at any time. Below are the steps to do it from inside the app, and how to contact us if you no longer have access.

Delete from inside the app

  1. Open the Double Check app and sign in.
  2. Go to Profile (bottom navigation).
  3. Tap Account settings.
  4. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
  5. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Your account and data are removed immediately and cannot be recovered.

Don't have access to the app?

If you can no longer sign in or have uninstalled the app, send us an email from the address linked to your account and we will delete it for you, usually within 7 days.

What gets deleted

  • Your user profile.
  • All checklists you own, including items and subitems.
  • Templates you have created.
  • Your categories and list preferences.
  • Your contact history used for sharing suggestions.
  • Your authentication credentials.

What may be retained

  • Checklists that other users have shared with you remain owned by them.
  • Anonymized, aggregated usage data that cannot be linked back to you.
